It was raining and my visit to Como wasn’t as I had expected, but nevertheless I had a glimpse of this charming town. After browsing around some wonderful streets I end up at the beautiful Cathedral, the fourteenth century building with its typical Lombardian renaissance style facade.
Walk along the cobbled alleyways and lovely squares like the Piazza Alessandro Volta surrounded by beautiful historic buildings.
With stop overs in some lake front cafes and typical restaurants serving great pastas. My one day visit in Como even under the rain turned out to be an enjoyable glimpse into one of Italy’s most popular town.
