That last shot makes the most compelling defense of the pyramid I’ve ever seen! As delicate as a length of lace, or a piece of gilt filigree it enhances the beauty of the surrounding stone structures. Magnificent shot, really.
Such a wealth of history where you are at. Versaille has a history that has always amazed me. Maybe AbuDabi is the next historical step. But, the new structures will never have that sort of permanence or effect on world history.
