The sun is shinning bright, blue sky and a perfect getaway from cold wintry Paris to enjoy the annual Nice carnival. A fun festival in one of France most delightful place along the Riviera. I stayed in a lovely historic hotel overlooking the gardens of the Massena museum on the legendary Promenade des Anglais, where the parade takes place. Here are some shots from the carnival with this year’s theme on the King of the Mediterranean. The show opens up with the colourful flower parade and ladies in their most enchanted costumes stand on decorated flower floats while throwing flowers at the audience.
